- St. Cloud State opens Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Tuesday, Sept. 15, with a match at Winona State University. The first serve is slated for 7 p.m.
- The Huskies are 35-10 all-time against the WSU Warriors, dating back to 1969.
- The Huskies will open NSIC action at home on Friday, Sept. 18, with a match against Winona State at 7 pm. The following afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 19, SCSU will entertain Upper Iowa University at 4 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall.
- SCSU participated at the UW-Parkside Tournament on Sept. 11-12, going 2-2 overall on the weekend and improving to 4-8 overall in 2009. For complete SCSU season statistics, click here.
- The Huskies garnered wins over Quincy University (25-18, 25-15, 25-13) and St. Joseph’s College (22-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-21).
- First year libero Sarah Madden (Van Meter, Iowa) posted a career-high 22 digs against St. Joseph’s College in the match victory.
