The Kiersten Mormann Story
2007 Season: Mormann saw action in 113 games during her first year as a Husky in the defensive specialist position...she tallied her first career kill against Concordia-St. Paul on Sept. 4, and her first career dig against Saginaw Valley State on Aug. 24 ...charted a season-high 24 digs against MSU Moorhead on Oct. 24 in Halenbeck Hall...posted a personal-best three serving aces twice during the season...dished out a season-high six assists at Minnesota State on Nov. 2....completed the season with 33 set assists, 23 serving aces, and 284 digs.
Before SCSU: Three-time letter winner in volleyball…graduated from Westside High School in 2007…coached by Kim Eymann…member of the Nebraska Elite Junior Olympic volleyball program.
Personal: Says her mother has had the greatest influence on her career…daughter of Robert and Kimberly Mormann…plans to pursue a degree in nursing at SCSU.
