The RaeAnne Stanley Story
2007 Season: St. Cloud State says good bye to fifth-year senior RaeAnne Stanley. Stanley played in 192 games as a Husky. She totaled 198 kills, 22 set assists, 11 serving aces and 158 digs during her career. After making the move to the middle blocking position this season, Stanley totaled 99 career blocks. During her 2007 senior stint, Stanley tallied all of her individual career-high marks. On Oct. 9, she amassed a .778 hitting percentage against Bemidji State. Her 11 career-high kills was accomplished against Augustana on Nov. 10 (which marked her final career game in the Cardinal and Black), and she charted a career-high eight blocks (2s-6a) against Saginaw Valley State on Aug. 24, 2007.
2006 Season: As a junior, Stanley charted a season high three kills twice during 2006...appeared in 15 games and recorded 11 kills, seven digs and two set assists on the outside.
2005 Season: Red-shirt season at SCSU.
2004 Season: Stanley saw action in 33 games in 2004...came up with 92 digs on the season...also had 11 kills and six ace serves.
2003 Season: Recorded 65 kills for the Huskies, most among first-year players that season...she also had five service aces for the team and had 13 kills in a game against Wayne State and had 11 against Nebraska-Omaha.
High School: A 2003 graduate of Jefferson H.S., where she earned two varsity letters in volleyball for coach Wendy Moritz....gained All-Conference honors as a prep player...scholar-athlete honor roll...letterwinner in track and field and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition in the 4x400 relay...to complement her high school volleyball experience, Stanley played Junior Olympic volleyball during the off-season.
Personal: Parents are Robert and Monica Stanley of Alexandria...National Honor Society, Stanley...was involved with Jefferson's Youth Encouragement Awareness and Target Leaders program...Who's Who Among American High School Students.
