2009 Season: Was the mainstay for the Huskies all season in the middle, leading the team in kills (331) and total blocks (94)…posted five double-doubles on the year, a new career best…was in double figures in kills 15 times during her junior stint and charted double figure numbers in digs six times in 2009….put away a new career match-high 21 kills against Minnesota, Crookston on Nov. 7…also garnered a new personal career match-high 20 digs at Augustana on Sept. 29…against Winona State on Sept. 18 the Holdingford native backstopped the Huskies with seven total blocks (1s, 6a), a new career mark…after three years played in the Cardinal and Black, Tschida has the best serving percentage in school history at .969 …ranks 11th all-time in solo blocks (48), 13th all-time in block assists (202) and 12th all-time with 250 total blocks…in 2009, totaled 331 kills, eight assists, 14 serving aces, 184 digs and 94 total blocks.

2008 Season: Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 13…finished season at second on the SCSU all-time serve percentage list with a .976 mark…recorded at least one service ace in four of first six matches…set career high in digs with 10 against #5 Southwest Minnesota on Oct. 17…matched single game assist high twice with two…recorded a season-high 13 kills three times…set career high in blocks with nine (2s/7a) against Minnesota State on Oct. 18…posted five aces against Bemidji State on Oct. 11…attacked a season-best .462 against SW Oklahoma on Aug. 30.

2007 Season: Tschida appeared in 86 games for the Huskies as a first year right side player in 2007...tallied a team-fourth best 144 kills, 14 set assists, 33 digs and a team fourth-best 52.0 total blocks...posted a career/season-high 17 kills against MSU Moorhead on Oct. 25...led the Huskies with 6.0 total blocks against St. Joseph's on Aug. 31, which marked a personal-best.

Before SCSU :  A 2007 graduate of Upsala High School...coached by Ken Solarz...four-time letter winner in volleyball...a three-time All-Prairie Conference choice...voted team MVP...an All-State Honorable Mention pick... completed prep career with 1,033 kills, a .980 serving percentage and 700 digs... lettered four times in basketball...was named her team’s MVP two times... the 2006-07 All-Conference Most Valuable Player.

Personal:  Daughter of Sylvester and Eleanor Tschida...honor roll student...majoring in political science...says her parents have had the greatest influence on her career...enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends in her free time.
