The Emily Baldwin Story

2007 Season: Baldwin appeared in 106 games for SCSU in 2007 on the outside and totaled a team-best 445 kills, 29 set assists, 15 serving aces, a team second-best 365 digs and 21.0 total blocks...named to the 2007 All-North Central Conference Honorable Mention team...completed the season ranked second in the NCC with 4.22 kills per game...posted a season/career-high 24 kills twice during the season (vs. Colorado Mines (9/25/07) / at Bemidji State (10/9/07)...voted team's Most Valuable Offensive Player...collected a career/season-high 27 digs in the last match of the season against Augustana College on Nov. 10, 2007.

2006 Season: Appeared in 71 games for head coach Patricia Mickow in her sophomore season...tallied 37 kills, 20 set assists, 15 serving aces and 209 digs in 2006....on Sept. 5, Baldwin recorded a season high nine kills against Concordia-St. Paul.

Before SCSU: A transfer from Southwest Minnesota State where she played one season of collegiate volleyball with the Mustangs in 2005...graduated from Burnsville high school in 2005...coached by Michelle Miller...lettered four times...team MVP and captain...named to All-Conference team twice...honorable mention All-Conference twice in prep career...Who's Who Among American High School Students recipient...AAU All-American...softball team MVP.

Personal:
Daughter of James and Ann Baldwin of Savage...her parents have had the greatest influence on her career...was featured on the cover of Midwest Volleyball Warehouse magazine...honor roll student...member of high school choir...a nursing major at SCSU.
