TRACK & FIELD: Weather Moves NSIC Multi Championships to Monday-Tuesday

Aberdeen, SD -- Poor weather conditions in Aberdeen, South Dakota, has
moved the NSIC Multi Championships to a Monday-Tuesday events, it was
announced today. The Multi competitions, a heptathlon and decathlon,
were originally scheduled to be contested on Sunday and Monday at Northern State University in Aberdeen.
Monday's competitioin will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the women's heptathlon followed by the men's decathlon at 10:15. On Tuesday, the decathlon gets underway at 9:00 a.m. followed by the heptathlon at 9:30.
Representing the Huskies in the heptathlon are junior Heather Miller (Sun Prairie, WI) and sophomore Kelsey King (Lakeville). Miller won the NSIC indoor heptathlon back in February.
On the men's side, juniors Andrew Stueck (Madison, WI) and Cris Jirele (Medford), along with first year athletes Nick Nellis (Waupaca, WI) and Dusty McColley (Franklin) will compete in the decathlon for the Huskies.
