TRACK & FIELD: St. Cloud State to Offer Throwing Clinic on Jan. 19

St. Cloud, Minn. -- St. Cloud State University will offer a track and field throwing clinic for boys and girls in grades 9-12, on Monday, Jan. 19. The clinic will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the indoor track of SCSU's Halenbeck Hall.
This clinic will feature expert instruction from St. Cloud State University coaches and athletes in the basics of the discus and shot put (rotational and glide). The cost is $30 per athlete, and the clinic includes a free lunch for all participants.
The day will include a warm-ups and discus training in the morning, followed in the afternoon with warm-ups and shot training. All participants should bring their own shoes, indoor shot and indoor/rubber discus. The registration deadline is Jan. 13.
