2008: Posted a pair of fifth place finishes in the 60-meter hurdles at SCSU and Husky Opens with times of 9.82 and 10.12 respectively…took 15th in 400-meter (65.77) at Jack Johnson Minnesota Classic…recorded a time of 27.19 in 200-meter at Parent’s Day Open…two top-five finishes of outdoor season came in the 100-meter hurdles at Morris (3rd/16.51) and the St. Thomas Invite (5th/15.88)…placed 14th at St. Thomas in 400 hurdles as well (1:09.39)…had solid showing at NCC Championships with ninth place mark in 400 intermediate hurdles (1:07.73) and high jump (4’11.5”), and a 10th place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (15.63)…
High School: 2007 graduate of Watertown-Mayer High School…coached by Dan Hansen and Richard Winter…accumulated five letters in track & field…a team captain, All-Conference honoree, and 2007 state champ in the 4x100 meter relay…also a four-time letter winner in soccer where she was named MVP and most valuable offensive player…member of the B honor roll.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Kimberly Ewald of Watertown, Minnesota…greatest sports thrill was winning the 4x100 meter relay at the State Championship meet…also enjoys riding horses…undeclared in a major.
