The Megan Quistorff Story
2008: Ended indoor season with eighth place finish (1:00.12) in the 400-meter…had five other top-eight marks on the year…took third place in the 200-meter (27.53) at the Northwest Open and the 60-meter (8.45) at the SCSU Open…recorded fifth in the 60-meter (8.37) at the Husky Open and in the 400-meter (61.26) at Parent’s Day Open…ran the 200-meter in 27.78 for eighth place at the Minnesota Open…best mark of outdoor session came at Morris where she finished third (12.98) in the 100-meter…also posted seventh place in the 200-meter (26.94) at the St. Thomas Invite…took 12th at Tommie Twilight in the 200-meter (27.71) and in the 400-meter (1:02.12) at the NCC Championships.
High School: High school career including six in track & field…three-time state champion who was an All-Conference and All-Section honoree…marked career best times of 26.0 seconds in the 200 meter dash, 49.46 in he 4x100 meter relay, and 1:44.46 in the 4x200 meter relay…also earned six cross country letters and All-Conference accolades in the process…garnered three letters on the hardwood as an All-Conference and All-Sub section basketball player…two-time basketball MVP…graduated #10 in her high school class.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Sharon Quistorff of Sauk Centre, Minnesota…lists her mother as the person with the greatest influence on her career…winning three state track titles is her greatest sports memory…also enjoys scrap booking…majoring in education and Spanish.Free E-Mail Updates
