2008: Finished the outdoor season strong with a 110-hurdle title at the St. Thomas Invite (15.28) and a second place finish at the NCC Championships (14.97)...posted lone top-five finish of the indoor session with fifth place finish in the 60-hurdles with a fifth place (8.70) showing…recorded sixth place in the same event at the Snowshoe Open (8.71)… took third at Morris in the 110-hurdles (15.71)
2007: At St. Thomas invite has his best showing in the 110-meter hurdles with a second place finish (15.62), the eighth best time in the NCC last season…recorded a sixth place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (15.95) at the Macalester Twilight…took fifth in the 110 hurdles (15.84) at the Bison Classic…at NCC indoor championships finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.56)…at Husky Open during indoor season finished 60-meter hurdles in honor roll time of 8.98.
2006: Showed steady improvement in his hurdle events for the Huskies throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons…ran the 60m hurdles at the Indoor NCC meet…during the Outdoor Championships he competed in both the 110m hurdles and the 400m hurdles…placed 10th in the 110m hurdles.
High School: 2005 graduate of Hinton High School…coached by Seth Deidiker…four-time letter winner in track and hockey…holds the school record in the high hurdles.
Personal: Son of Mark and Kaye Held of Hinton, Iowa…lists his parents as the people with the greatest influence on his career…favorite sports personality is Jeremy Roenick…majoring in recreation management with a minor in therapeutic recreation.
