2008: Was runner-up in the pentathlon (3,050 pts) at the NCC Indoor Championships…other pentathlon finish during indoor included 10th (2,738) at Jack Johnson Minnesota Classic…also posted 11th place mark in the 60-meter hurdles (9.65) at NCC Championships…best finish in the 60-hurdles was a third place mark (9.70) at Husky Open and also had a fourth place (9.33) mark at Parent’s Day Open…1.45-meter jump grabbed her second in the high jump at the Husky Open…ran the 800-meter in 2:39.86 at the SCSU Open, good for seventh…Outdoor season started with fourth place mark (3,750) at Herschel Neil Meet in Missouri…won the 100-hurdles (16.14) and took fourth in the high jump (1.48 meters) at Minnesota-Morris…St. Thomas Invite brought third place in the 100-hurdles (15.69)…Had solid showing at NCC Outdoor Title with fifth place in the heptathlon (4,005), ninth in the javelin (95’11”) and 11th in the 100 hurdles (15.71).
High School: 2007 graduate of Mauston (WI) High School...four-year letterwinner and three-time team MVP in track and field...three-year letterwinner and team captain in volleyball...lettered in basketball...set school records in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, long jump and triple jump...class Validictorian.
Personal: Daughter of Connie and Rod Walhovd of Mauston...nursing major.
