2008: Indoor season was highlighted by 4th place finish in 3000-meter at SCSU Open (11:36.42)…placed 18th in 3000-meter at the University of Minnesota’s Parent’s Day Open (11:25.07)…best finish of outdoor season came at Minnesota-Morris Open with 2nd place in the 5000-meter (20:13.25)…placed 10th in 1500-meter at St. Thomas Invite (5:21.17)…finished 12th in 3000-meter at Bison Open (11:21.94)…ended season at NCC Championships with 20th place mark in the 3000-meter (12:09.23).
2007: At the NCC outdoor championships grabbed a top-10 finish at ninth in the 3000-meter (11:18.75)…recorded a season best in the 1500-meter (5:07.70) at the Tommie Twilight…finished fifth (5:09.20) in same event at the Drake Alternative…at the Division II Challenge finished sixth in the 3000 (11:16.65) with best time of season…earned a 14th place finish in the one-mile (5:59.46) at the NCC indoor championships.
High School: 2006 graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School…12 time letter winner garnering six each in track & field and cross country.
Personal: Daughter of Clifford and Debra Borden of Merrifield, Minnesota…also on the SCSU cross country team…majoring in Marketing with a Minor in International Business.
