The William Brenny Story

2009: Indoor season highlights include second place in pole vault (13’3.5”) at St. Olaf…third place (13’11.25”) finish at the Beaver Classic…two top-ten places…outdoor season first place finish (14’1.25”) at the DII Challenge…two third place marks in pole vault event (13’5.25” and 13’9.25”)…NSIC Championships appearance for both seasons.

High School: 2008 graduate of Foley High School…coached by Dave Dahlstrom…won two letters for the Foley High Track team…placed seventh and third in two state meet appearances in the pole vault…named team’s Most Improved and Most Valuable Field member…also won three letters in football and wrestling…member of wrestling team that recorded fifth place finish at state tournament…won team’s True Grit award.

Personal: Son of Mike Brenny and Audrey Fouquette…says pole vaulting at state is his greatest sports thrill…enjoys fishing in his spare time…a mechanical engineering major.
