The Shamus O'Grady Story

2009 Track: Competed in outdoor season UWRF 3000m Steeplechase finishing fifth (10:17.27)…placed fourth in the 5000 meter (16:19.44) at the UMD Triangular…took ninth in the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the 3000m Steeplechase (10:02.25).

2008 XC: First year...Shamus O’Grady, who also wrestles for the Huskies in the winter, ran his best race of the season at the NSIC Championships (27:07.60) and was the second Husky to cross the finish line at the 2008 North Central Regional Championships… competed in five of the six meets in 2008.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Coon Rapids High School…he was a State Champion and a two-time state finalist…put together an impressive high school career, charting an 85-24 record…an outstanding cross country runner, he will also run at St. Cloud State.

Personal: The son of Dan and Synthia Klint…enjoys running and drawing…he plans on majoring in education at SCSU.
