The Kevin Andresen Story

2009 Track: Best indoor finish came at SCSU Open in 800 meter run (4th / 2:05.84)…3000 meter run eighth place (10:06.80) Beaver Classic mark…NSIC Championship distance medley relay appearance…ran 1500 meter (4:13.27) at UMD North Country placing fifth…best season result at Gustavus in 800 meter run (1:57.92) with second place finish.

2008-09 Track: Andresen placed 7th at the MDR team indoor track meet as well in the NSIC conference running the 800m. Kevin's first year was complimented by his 3.33 GPA.

2008 XC: First year...Placed 75th overall at the NSIC Championships, crossing the finish line at 29:18.95, which marked a personal best time…ran in five meets as a first year.

High School: Coached by Eric Zuccola…graduated from Robbinsdale Cooper High School in 2008…lettered three times in cross country and was an All-North Suburban Conference runner in 2007 and an honorable mention All-Conference runner in 2006…named Team MVP and Team Most Dedicated…a three-time letterwinner in track and field…two-time All-Conference athlete…gained Minnesota State Meet appearances in 2007 and 2008 in the 4x400 relay…earned Team Most Improved honors…participated in alpine ski.

Personal: Son of Daniel and Mary Andresen of Crystal (Minn.)…lists the Minnesota Twins commentators,  Bert Blyleven and Dick Bremer, as his favorite sports personalities…says his high school coach Eric Zuccola has had the most influence on his career…academic letterwinner…enjoying biking…pursuing a degree in chemistry at SCSU.
