The Emily Doty Story

2010-11: XC: Ran a personal record 25:58.9 at the Pine Hill Invite on Oct. 9 to finish 14th overall and help the team to a second place finish.

2008-09: XC: First year...Doty appeared in five races for the Huskies as a rookie…charted her personal best time of 25:43.7 at the UMD Pine Hill Invite on Oct. 11, 2008, finishing in 48th place. Track: Indoor season top finish at SCSU Open in 3000-meter (12:07.09)…placed 11th in 5000-meter (21:00.56) at UW-River Falls…two event finishes at the Minnesota Open in 800-meter (11th / 2:50.37) and mile run (12th / 6:10.17).

High School: 2008 graduate of Totino Grace High School…letter winner in both cross country and track & field…four-year honor roll member.

Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Debbie Doty of Minneapolis…lists her high school coaches as those with the greatest influence on her career…greatest sports thrill was running for the first time at the Roy Griak Invite…English major with a minor in Spanish.
