The Brittney Moffatt Story

2009 Track: Indoor distance medley relay team set school record (12:44.92)…earned second place in 800 meter run (2:21.01) at UW-River Falls…fourth place in 800 meter run (2:20.37) at NSIC Championships…second place finish in outdoor season at DII Challenge in 1500 meter run event (4:51.40)…third place 400 meter dash (1:02.10) at UMD Triangular…UWRF 1500 meter fifth place result (5:06.86)…NSIC Championship fourth place in 1500 meter run (4:51.44).

2008 XC: Red-shirt first year...Moffatt was a bright spot on the team in 2008 as she placed 31st at the NSIC Championships, running a personal best time of 24:29.30….a member of the North Central Regional team…placed 99th overall (24:52.0) at the regional meet.

2007: First year…did not compete in any races for the Huskies.

High School: 2007 graduate of St. Francis High School…coached by Bekki Hanson…three time letter winner on the cross country team…All-Conference performer…team MVP and Captain…team was conference champion…best time in the 4K was 15:55…also won three letters in track & field…all an All-Conference performer, MVP and Captain…conference champion and State Meet participant…best time in 400 meter was 1:02, and best in the 800 was 2:22.

Personal: Daughter of Steven Moffatt of Coon Rapids…lists her Dad as the person with the greatest influence on her career…says winning the team conference championship in cross country her senior year in her greatest sports thrill…also enjoys snow boarding, wake boarding and surfing…also a member of the SCSU track and field team…majoring in English with a Minor in coaching.
