The Amanda Schilling Story

2009 Track: Highlight of indoor season came at SCSU Open with two top-five marks in the 800-meter run (4th/2:49.80) and mile run (5th / 6:13.42) events…placed eighth at St. Olaf in 3000 meter run (11:35.10)…UW-River Falls twelfth place finish (21:00.70) in 5000 meter run.


2008 XC: First year...Schilling charted her personal best race at the Minnesota Duluth Pine Hill Invite (25:43.5) on Oct. 11, 2008...placed 91st overall at the NSIC Championships (27:32.25)…competed in all but one race as a rookie.

High School: 2008 graduate of White Bear Lake Area High School…coached by Patty Percival…garnered two letters in cross country and four in track & field where she was All-Conference Honorable Mention…also played basketball and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Carole Schilling of White Bear Lake…says her father has had the greatest influence on her career…greatest sports thrill was anchoring her 4x800m relay team to a second place finish after running third the entire race…double majoring in international business and Spanish with a minor in finance.
