WOMEN'S TENNIS: Huskies Topple GLIAC Rival 8-1

Orlando, FL- The St. Cloud State University women’s tennis team furthered their winning season on March 12 with a strong 8-1 victory against Saginaw Valley State University from Michigan. The win put the team at an overall record of 9-6 and a spring break record of 3-2.
The Huskies swept Saginaw Valley in doubles with victories from Kelly Freese and Kristie Eull at #1 with a score of 8-0. Jacque Doll and Kayla Lenz found a win at #2 doubles with a score of 8-4. To complete the sweep, Aaryn Anderson and Samantha Boushek won #3 doubles by a score of 8-4.
Singles was also a place of great success for the Huskies. They received victories from Kelly Freese (#2), Jacque Doll (#3), Kayla Lenz (#4), Samantha Boushek (#5) and Tanya Halloran (#6).
The Huskies final spring break match will be played on March 13, against Seton Hall University. Complete match results against Saginaw Valley are listed below:
