WOMEN'S TENNIS: UND Gains 7-2 Win Over SCSU

The St. Cloud State women tennis team (3-3) lost a tough 7-2 decision against NCAA Division I opponent North Dakota on Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Gold's Gym Tennis Center in nearby Sartell, Minn.
The Huskies eanred their only victory in singles play from junior Kelly Freese, who posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over Brynne Wischer of UND at third singles. Freese added to the win total with an 8-4 victory at first doubles along with teammate Jacquelyn Doll, who defeated Emily Callison and Katie Wessman of UND.
SCSU will continue its season on Sunday, Feb. 22 with a match against Upper Iowa University in Owatonna, Minn. The match is slated to take place at 3:30 p.m.
