The Becky Newgren Story

2009-10: Newgren has season highlights including 0:25.13 50-freestyle and :30.94 50-backstroke marks.

2008-09: First Year…was a member of the 200 medley relay that tabbed a first place finish at the TYR/CollegeSwimming.com Classic on Dec. 6 in Kenosha, Wis. …competed in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back during her rookie season…a time of 24.48 was her top time in the 50 free…posted personal best times of 54.80 in the 100 free and 1:04.20 in the 100 back.

HIGH SCHOOL : 2008 graduate of Lakeville South High School where she swam for coach Rick Ringeisen…earned five letters in the pool and was voted team captain…twice earned All-American honors as well as All-Conference and All-State Accolades…named team MVP.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Bill and Kim Newgren of Lakeville…majoring in aviation management with a minor in professional flight.
