The Matt Girard Story

2009-10: Girard highlighted his season with a 50-free time of 0:22.32 seconds and a 100-breast time of 0:58.47.

2008-09: Medical Red-shirt season.

2007-08: Red-shirt season.

2006-07: Sophomore...best showing was in the St. Johns dual, in which he finished second in the 100 breast…named to the NCC Academic Honor Roll.

2005-06: First year...member of the 2006 record breaking 400 medley relay team...placed fourth in the 400 medley relay and tenth in the 200 breast at the NCC Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2005 graduate of Bloomington Kennedy High School...six-time letter winner in swimming...participated in state championships...National Honor Society member, honor roll student and Eagle Award winner.

PERSONAL: Parents are Gail and Bruce Girard of Bloomington...majoring in entrepreneurship.
