The Allison Tracy Story
2010-11: Charted the Diver of the Year accolades after a remarkable junior season for the Huskies…Tracy earned an All-American Honorable Mention nod on the one-meter board at the 2011 NCAA Division II Championships with a score of 389.10 (11th place)… a College Swimming Coaches Association of American Academic All-American…qualified for nationals on both boards…record five individual first place finishes as a junior…top scores for the season included 428.25 on the one-meter (11 Championship) and 441.20 on the three-meter (11 Championship).
2009-10: Tracy season highlights include 1-meter (60) 242.95 and 3-meter (11) 424.70 marks... She earned an All-American honor in the 1-Meter placing eighth with 372.60 points and an All-American Honorable Mention in the 3-Meter placing 12th with 339.75 points.
2008-09: First year … competed in 13 meets during the season … national qualifier on both boards … earned All-American Honorable Mention notice on the three-meter with a 339.00 score at the NCAA Championships … posted season highs and qualifying marks on both the one (247.15) and three-meter (258.90) on Jan. 23 at the St. John’s/St. Ben’s Invite … earned fifth place honors at the Northern Sun Championships with an 11 dive score of 364.10 on the one-meter.
Before SCSU: 2008 graduate of Minot High School where she was coached by Barb McPeak…a three-sport athlete who garnered 11 letters in gymnastics, diving, and track & field…team captain in gymnastics and diving…three times voted the teams hardest worker and twice was noted as most valuable diver…two-time All-State diver and three-time All-State gymnast…named North Dakota’s Senior Athlete of the Year for gymnastics.
Personal: Parents are Curtis Tracy of Minot, N.D., and Misty Tracy of Alexandria, Minn. … says her parents and high school coach, Barb McPeak, have had the greatest influence on her career…lists her greatest sports thrill as getting second at state diving and achieving the Senior Athlete of the Year award…member of the National Honor Society…high honors student.
