The Zac Henderson Story
2008-09: First year … competed in eight meets throughout the season … swam predominately the fly events … also saw time in the relays … set career highs in the 100 and 200 fly in the final meet of the season with a 56.67 and a 2:09.49 respectively … competed once each in the 50 free, 100 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 50 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in the pool for Lawrence High…was team captain his senior year…was the Lawrence Journal World Male Newcomer of the Year for all sports…Lawrence Aquahawks Swim Club’s Comeback Award is named in his honor...was a 10-year member of the Aquahawks club team…was a student representative for his school board…active in the Youth in Local Government Club and at First Christian Church as a communion president.
PERSONAL: Son of Shawn and Suzanne Henderson…lists reaching his personal goals as his biggest sports thrill…plans to major in meteorology.
