The Tyler Magalis Story

BEFORE SCSU: Tyler Magalis (Farmington) put together a fantastic prep tenure at Farmington High School where he won six varsity letters in diving and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Diver. The State Champion garnered All-State and All-Missota Conference honors, as well as the Section 1AA Diver of the Year nod. Coached by Gregg Rappe, Magalis holds diving records at his high school, in the section and in the state, including personal best scores of 271 (6 dive) and 496.75 (11 dive). An honor roll student, Tyler’s parents are Peter and Joni Magalis of Farmington, Minn., and he enjoys biking, roller blading and hanging out with his friends in his free time.
