The Makenzie Pillsbury Story

2010-11: Voted Co-Most Improved Swimmer of the Year… swam six different events (100 free, 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM and 400 IM) during her sophomore campaign…recorded national B-cut times in the 100 breast (1:06.45) and 200 breast (2:25.33)…charted her personal top time of 4:47.43 in the 400 IM at the 2011 Midwestern Collegiate Championships.

2009-10: Pillsbury’s season highlights includes a 100-freestyle finish in 0:59.75 seconds and a 50-breaststroke time of 0:33.80.

High School: A 2009 graduate of St. Cloud Tech High School...six-time letterwinner for the Tigers...two-time All-American consideration... All-Conference...three-time state participant...National honor society...honors program at SCSU.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Margaret Pillsbury of St. Cloud...named Rowdy Gaines as her favorite sports personality...lists her parents as the people with the greatest influence on her career...a pre-medical student at SCSU.
