The Mike Larch Story

2010-11: Garnered the Most Improved Swimmer of the Year award…competed in five events for Coach Hegle’s squad this season (50 free, 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast and 50 fly)…posted personal top times of :24.21 in the 50 free, :28.61 in the 50 breast, :58.38 in the 100 breast, 2:12.17 in the 200 breast and :25.77 in the 50 fly…ranked fourth on the Husky squad in the 50 breast and 100 breast…his time of 2:12.17, amassed at the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Championships, ranked fifth best on the roster…also participated on the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay…his time of :58.38 in the 100 breast was a national B-cut mark.

2009-10: Larch’s season highlights include a 50-freestyle time of 0:24.87 seconds and a 100-breaststroke time of 1:03.09.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2009 graduate of Monticello High School...two-time letterwinner...All-State…All-Conference…State Championship participant…two-time letterwinner in tennis…coached by Laura Molinari.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeffrey and Joan Larch of Monticello, Minn...computer engineering major at SCSU.
