The Jake Hausauer Story
2010-11: Recorded a national B-cut time of 1:32.94 as a member of the men’s 200 medley relay, which set a new school record on Feb. 19 at the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Championships…that magnificent relay time also earned Hausauer a conference title…he charted three individual first place finishes throughout the season…competed in four individual events, including the 50 free, 100 free, 50 back and 100 breast…ranked second on the Husky squad with a time of :21.51 in the 50 free and :46.94 in the 100 free…his time of :26.46 in the 50 back was third best on the roster…tabbed a national B-cut time in the 100 free (:46.94).
2009-10: Hausauer highlighted his season with a 50-free time of 0:21.73 seconds and a 100-freestyle time of 0:47.49.
High school: A 2009 graduate of Minnetonka High School...six-time letterwinner...voted All-Conference three years in a row...All-American and All-State three years...voted athlete of the year by his peers.
Personal: Son of John and Linda Hausauer...lists tying his teammate and long time friend in the 50 yard freestyle during the state finals as his favorite sports moment...mechanical engineering major at SCSU.
