The Shane Broermann Story

2010-11: Competed in six events for the Huskies during his sophomore stint, including the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 200 breast, 50 fly and 100 fly…swam his best times in the 50 and 100 free in early February, touching the wall in :23.28 and :51.66, respectively.

2009-10: Broermann highlighted his season with a 50-freestroke time of 0:23.63 seconds and a 100-free time of 0:52.22.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2009 graduate of Sauk Centre High School...four-time letterwinner...team captain…state participant in the 400 relay in 2007…three-time letterwinner in cross country…one time letterwinner in track and field…coached by James Schreiner and Nathan Meyer.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Donna Broermann of Sauk Centre, Minn... Michael Phelps is his favorite sports personality and his parents are the person with the greatest influence on his career...Education major at SCSU.
