The Ross Eiden Story
2006-07: Red-Shirt...took first place in the one and three meter boards vs. Wisconsin-Stevens Point...proir to season ending injury.
2005-06: Sophomore...placed ninth in the one-meter and three-meter boards at the NCAA Championships...won the one-meter and placed fourth on the three-meter board at the NCC Championships.
2004-05: First year...had an outstanding rookie season on the one- and three-meter diving boards...led Huskies to a 21st place finish at the 2005 NCAA Championships with All-American finishes on the one and three-meter board...placed fourth on the three-meter board and sixth on the one-meter board.
HIGH SCHOOL: Eiden was a two-sport letter winner in high school, earning two letters in soccer and six in diving...in his diving career at Rosemount High School, he earned All-American, All-State, and All-Conference honors, as well as having been selected Diver of the Year...as a senior, he successfully won a section Championship in diving...graduated in 2004.
PERSONAL: Parents are Wayne and Kathy Eiden of Rosemount...criminal justice major and communication studies minor...high school coaches were Tim Eric and Kerry Hill...lists snowboarding and paintball as favorite hobbies.
