HIGH SCHOOL: 2007 graduate of Hutchinson High School…coached by Rory Fairbanks…won six letters in the pool along with being named All-Conference each season…finished career with five individual and relay state championships to go along with two team state championships…twice named All-American while setting state records in the 100 back and 200 medley relay…graduated Magna Cum Laude.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Terry and Wendy Bakke of Hutchinson, Minnesota…greatest sports influence was Jerry Carlson and favorite sports personality is Amanda Beard…lists winning state as a first year in the 100 back stroke as her greatest sports thrill…was also a manager for the boys swim team in high school…undeclared in a major.
