The Laura Seidenkranz Story
2006-07: Junior...competed in the 1000 and 1650 free, posting the 19th and 20th best time in the NCC respectively...member of 2006-07 NCC Academic Honor Roll.
2005-06: Sophomore...placed 10th as a sophomore in the 1000 meter freestyle at Conference meet...member of the academic honor roll.
2004-05: First year…at NCC Championships finished 17th in the 1000 freestyle in 11:17.30.
HIGH SCHOOL: Seidenkranz graduated from Mounds View High School in 2004...was a four-time letter winner in swimming and competed at the Swimming State Championships three times...is a two-time section champion in the 500 free, earned All-Conference honors three times and All-State honors once...also a member of the National Honor Society her junior and senior years.
PERSONAL: Parents are Rick and Ruthie Seidenkranz...high school coach was Jocelyn Holeman...recreation and sports management major...special education minor...greatest sports thrill: winning sections in 2001.
