The Jasmine Lee Story
2010-11: Voted the teams’ Most Valuable Swimmer and Freshman of the Year in 2010-11… Lee broke the school record in the 200 IM this season, touching the wall in 2:06.88…the Green Bay, Wis., native totaled a team-best 25 individual victories in 2010-11, including conference championships in the 100 back and 200 back at the 2011 Midwestern Collegiate Conference Championships…also won a conference title in the 400 free relay and 200 medley relay…for her efforts at the MCC Championships in Omaha, Neb., Lee brought home the MCC Rookie of the Year honors…recorded national B-cut times in the 200 IM (2:06.88), 100 back (:58.11) and 200 back (2:06.35)…was a member of the 200 medley relay (1:46.43) and 400 medley relay (3:52.37) that charted national B-cut times as well.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Preble High School…coached by Teri Degrand…a four-time letterwinner for the Hornets…two-time MVP…conference champion…finished fourth and fifth in the Wisconsin State meet…says swimming the 200 backstroke at the 2008 State meet against Becky Yokosh was her greatest sports thrill.
Personal: Daughter of Phil and Cindy Lee of Green Bay, Wis. …high honors student…member of the Phi Sigma Sigma.
