2006-07: First year...on 200 medley relay team that took third at the NCC Championships…Recorded fourth place finish in the 100 fly at the NCC Championships…Notched three other top-10 finishes in the 100 fly (2nd at Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 2nd at Husky Invite I and sixth at the Collegeswimming.com Invite).
HIGH SCHOOL : 2006 graduate of Mandan High School in Mandan, North Dakota...five-time letter winner in swimming...as a member of the Brave’s swim team he was named Team Captain and Team MVP...five-time state champion...name West Region Senior Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: Parents are Rick and Leinani Goergen of Mandan, North Dakota...planning to major in accounting...high school coach was Ralph Manley.
