The Chris Tung Story

BEFORE SCSU: The son of Jack and Jane Tung of Reno, Nev., Chris Tung has been a standout breast/IM middle distance swimmer for Reno High School for the past four seasons. A team captain the past two years, Tung earned top honors in the 200 free at the 2010 Northern Nevada Regional meet and also garnered All-American status in the 400 free relay back in 2009. A school record holder in the 400 free relay, Tung also lettered three times in tennis during his prep career. Coached by Pete Schouweiler in swimming, Tung has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past two school years and plans to major in pre-physical therapy at St. Cloud State.
