2005-06: First year…placed sixth at the NCC championships in the 100 butterfly with a time of 53:06…another top ten finish at the NCC championships came when he swam on fourth place 400 medley relay team with Sean Fitzgerald, Matt Girard, and Doug McGrath in a SCSU record time of 3:32.71.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2004 graduate of Oregon High School…coached by Wendy Mcnall…won four letters on the swim team…was named team MVP his junior and senior seasons…best time in the 100 fly was 54:32.
PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Carol Olp of Oregon Wisconsin…lists high school coach Wendy Mcnall as person with the greatest influence on her career…greatest sports thrill was a fifth place finish at the division II state tournament…majoring in computer science at SCSU.
