The Alex Jaholkowski Story

2010-11: Posted times in six individual events for the Huskies during his junior campaign…recorded personal top times of :49.21 in the 100 free, :24.68 in the 50 fly, :54.42 in the 100 fly, 1:01.44 in the 100 breast, 2:17.45 in the 200 breast and 2:06.54 in the 200 IM…swam a leg on the 400 medley relay on Dec. 3 at the UW-River Falls Invitational.

2009-10: Jaholkowski’s season highlights include a 50-fly time of 0:24.78 seconds and a 200-IM time of 2:04.18.

2008-09: First year … competed in nine events during the season swimming mainly the breaststroke … also saw limited time in the 200 free and the 100 fly … competed in all five relay events, which included his first career win on Jan. 17 in the 400 medley relay (3:55.56) … on Dec. 5 & 6 at the Carthage Invite, had a career day, setting new highs in both the 100 breast (1:03.08) and the 200 breast (2:21.21).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters throughout his high school swimming career…was Papillion’s team captain his senior year…earned team MVP honors at Ramstein American H.S. in Germany…was European Swim League breaststroke champion…also a state and sectional qualifier in the event…member of the Honor Roll in high school.

PERSONAL: Son of Piotr and Ania Jaholkowski…lists all his teammates as the people with the biggest influence on his career…says his greatest sports thrill is attending the FIFA World Cup in Germany…enjoys extreme sports and traveling…plans an international relations major with a German minor.
