The Alex Bryson Story

BEFORE SCSU: The Huskies will welcome Alex Bryson (Appleton, Wis.) to the 2011-12 squad this upcoming fall. An All-State and All-Conference swimmer, Bryson lettered four times for the Appleton North High School swim team. For his superb efforts in five events, Bryson was named the Fox Valley Association Conference Swimmer of the Year. Coached by Scott Stepanski, the standout swimmer finished second in the 500 free at the Wisconsin State High School Meet his senior stint in 2011. During his prep tenure Bryson also garnered two varsity letters in tennis and charted All-Conference Honorable Mention status. The son of Robert and Silvia Bryson, Alex plans to major in engineering at St. Cloud State. He is a Speedo Academic All-American and was a member of the National Honor Society. Bryson enjoys kayaking, hiking and playing tennis in his free time.
