The Aimee Peterson Story

2010-11: Competed in four events for the Huskies during her rookie campaign, including the 50 free, 100 free, 50 back and 100 back…posted personal top times of :25.56 (50 free), :57.72 (100 free), :32.15 (50 back) and 1:11.34 (100 back) throughout the season.

High School: Graduated from Winona Senior High in 2010…coached by Steve Burt…lettered four times in swimming…an All-Big 9 Conference Honorable Mention swimmer…participated in track and basketball…describes her greatest sports thrill as breaking the record at Sections in her relay.

Personal: Todd and Susan Peterson of Rollingstone, Minn., are her parents… says her weight room coach, Jim Yahnke, has had the greatest influence on her career…enjoys working and hanging out with family in her free time…plans to pursue a degree in elementary education at St. Cloud State with a minor in special education.
