2009 Season: Started in all 59 games at shortstop…batted .290 on the season….in 176 at-bats, posted 32 runs scored, 51 hits, eight doubles, one triple and three home runs…tabbed a team best 37 RBI’s…her three home runs were a team co-best…32 runs scored ranked third in the Husky squad…led the team with 147 assists during her sophomore stint…went 9-for-10 in the stolen base category…charted a career high five at-bats against Northern State (4/19/09)…swung for her lone triple of the season against MSU Moorhead (4/3/09)...amassed a season high three runs scored against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (2/19/09)…team captain.
2008 Season: First year third baseman from Hudson, Wis….became a mainstay in the hot corner starting every game at third base…batted .270 (40-148) with six doubles, one triple, and two home runs…27 runs scored and 20 RBI were second among first years…tallied 54 total bases to slug .365…earned 13 walks and had an on base percentage of .339…finished second on the team with 120 assists…started career with a walk in her first career start, but in the second game of the day went 2-4 at the plate with a double, a run scored, a stolen base and then a career high two RBI in the 11-3 win…the following day in a 5-4 win against North Dakota made it back-to-back two hit games with a 2-3 day…went 2-3 with a career high three runs and career best two doubles in a 7-0 win over Upper Iowa in 2/23…first career three hit game came on 3/7 in a 5-4 win over Wayne State where she went 3-4, hit her first career triple and scored two runs…following the Wayne State game, she stung together a career high seven game hit streak that raised her average from .286 on 3/7 to .329 on 3/22…on 3/14 in a 4-3 win over Pitt State, Stalker hit a two-out walk-off single to center that gave the Huskies the win…scored career high three runs and went 2-2 at the plate with two RBI as part of the Huskies season high 16 run performance in a 16-7 win over North Dakota on 4/15…knocked in three RBI for the first time on 4/22 in a 15-0 win over Bemidji State.
High School: 2007 graduate from Hudson, WI…won letters in both softball and volleyball…a three time All-Conference performer on the diamond garnering first team accolades as a sophomore and senior…in 59 games her senior season she batted .475 with 10 doubles and 16 RBI…led team to sections as a senior for the first time in five years…also a two time All-Conference performer on the volleyball court.
Personal: Daughter of Randy and Denise Stalker of Hudson, Wisconsin…majoring in Meteorology with a minor in Coaching.
