2009 Season: Named to the 2009 All-NSIC Softball Second Team…played first 13 games of the season in the outfield before being moved to the designated player position as a slap-hitter… was 5th on the squad with a .315 batting average…ranked 7th in the NSIC with 62 hits and tied for 4th in the league with four triples…3rd in the league with 210 total plate appearances and atop the NSIC with 197 at bats…4th on the squad with .386 slugging percentage…4th on the team with 26 runs scored and 62 hits…had four triples in 2009…ranked 2nd on the team with 76 total bases…led the team with 197 at-bats…charted four hits in a game twice in 2009, which marked season highs…was 10-for-16 in stolen base category.
2008 Season: Sophomore outfielder/designated player from Kalispell, Mont….named to NFCA All-North Central Region Second Team...landed on Daktronics, Inc. All-North Central Region First Team...saw time in each game with 51 starts…led the Huskies at the plate all season and finishes with a .421 (64-152) batting average, just 10 points away from a school record and the fourth best season mark in school history…mark ranks 63rd in DII…hit four doubles, two triples, one home run, scored 31 runs and knocked in 24…slugged .493 and recorded on base percentage of .460…finished the season 20-27 in stolen bases which is tied for the fourth most in team history…in the NCC ranked fifth in batting average, fifth in stolen bases/game, and 10th in hits/game (1.14)…gained first start in 2/17 went 1-1 with a run scored on 2/22 in second start…would go on to start each game for the rest of the season as either a DP or an outfielder…went 2-2 with a run and an RBI on 2/22, the first of four games in a five day span where she was perfect at the plate…put together back-to-back 3-3 one run, one RBI games on 2/23 and 2/24, and went 3-3 again 3/2 in a 7-2 win over New York Institute…after 28 at-bats in15 games was batting .607…tallied 21 multi hit games…held batting average over the .500 mark as late as 3/6…hit safely in 38 games…only twice after becoming a starter had consecutive games without a hit…hit first career home run on 4/15 as part of a 2-4 two run, and career high three RBI day in a 16-7 win over North Dakota…again tallied three RBI on 4/22 as part of a 15 run effort against Bemidji State…again had three RBI, on 5/3 against North Dakota in the NCC Tournament including the game winner in the bottom of the seventh to break a tie and give the Huskies the 12-11 win, also eliminating UND...garnered the team's Coaches Award at th end of the season.
2007 Season: Dwyer made 44 appearances for head coach Paula U'Ren's squad and started in 16 games... her first career start came against the University of Mary on Feb. 16 in the Husky Dome... the first year center fielder swung for her first collegiate hit against Georgian Court on March 6 in Florida... Dwyer's lone double in a Husky uniform came against Augustana College on April 21 at historic Selke Field... she had 18 put outs in 2007 and three stolen bases with a .864 fielding percentage.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Flathead High School in Kalispell, MT...coached by Dale Beerman in softball...lettered four times in softball...team captain...named to All-State Second Team twice in prep career...finished career with a .320 batting average...earned the "Get 'R Done", Most Improved and Rookie of the Year awards in high school...also lettered in basketball and volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Robert and Diane Dwyer of Kalispell, MT...graduated with a 4.0 GPA....All-State Academic recipient four times...honor roll student...says hitting the game-winning homerun in extra innings to send her team to the State Finals was her greatest sports thrill...enjoys hiking, fishing, biking, babysitting, art, and spending time with family...a nursing major at SCSU.
