2011 Season: A 2011 NSIC Spring Academic choice…led the squad with a .346 batting average in 51 starts at shortstop…her 20 RBI ranked third on the team while her 17 doubles, which led the squad, were fourth best in the NSIC…second on the Husky squad with 13 stolen bases (13-17) in 2011…led the team with 133 fielding assists and her 96 putouts were fourth best on the SCSU squad…posted a season-high three RBI against Concordia-St. Paul on April 6…her four hits at Northern State on April 19 were a personal best…drew 21 walks, good for sixth in the league…was hit seven times in 2011, which tied for third in the NSIC…swung for four homeruns at the lead-off position.

2010 Season: Started in all 48 games at shortstop...led the team with 11 doubles during her rookie stint, which ranked 10th in the NSIC...third on the squad with 21 RBI...had only two errors on the season with a .955 fielding percentage...in 132 at-bats, accumulated a .265 batting average...posted three homeruns...season-high two doubles against Caldwell on March 13…swung for first career hit against Northern State on Feb. 26 in her collegiate debut…tabbed seven multi-hit games in 2010…seven-for-nine in stolen base category…voted the team’s Husky Golden Glove winner.

High School: A 2009 graduate of St. Francis High School… in softball Olson lettered all four years of high school… All-State Honorable Mention, Academic All- State and Academic All- Conference player… a three time All- Conference Offensive Player… voted team’s Defensive Player, Most Improved Player and a three -time team Most Valuable Player…landed on the Minnesota’s High School All -Star Team…in volleyball she has lettered three times and tabbed honors of Most Improved Player, All- Conference Honorable Mention, team Most Valuable Player, team captain, All-Conference, Academic All-Conference and Academic All-State… weight training is another one of Olson’s passions… she was named her school’s Top Female Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Overall… now holds 10 school records…also earned the Athena Award, Most School Spirit, and Athletic Representative for Community Relations Committee.

Personal: The daughter of Ken and Kim Olson… says that her dad has had the greatest influence on her career… says her greatest sports thrill was in the bottom of the seventh inning, with bases loaded, two outs, score is 1-3, and her team was losing…. Olson stepped up to the plate, 0-for-3 at the plate, and with a full she hit a walk-off double to right center field to score three runs and win the game!... her academic honors consist of being on the Principal’s Honor Roll for six trimesters and was selected to take part in the 2007 Leadership Conference… some of the activities Olson participated in were National Honors Society, school yearbook, choir, link, and Youth Teaching Youth… majoring in criminal justice.
