High School: 2007 graduate of Lincoln-Way East High School…played for coach Aimee Lonigro…three sport athlete garnering two letters each in softball, tennis and track & field…All-Conference athlete in softball where team made it to the 2007 Final Eight…also All-Conference in tennis and track & field…member of 4x100 team that took 11th in state…also sixth in state for the indoor long jump.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Denise Laas of Frankfort, Illinois…member of the honor roll in High School…lists High School coach Aimee Lonigro as the biggest influence on her athletic career…lists greatest sports thrills as making it to the final eight in state in softball as well as beating Lockport Township in the 4x100 in an indoor race…also enjoys running and working out when she is not playing…undeclared on a major.
