2009 Season: Made three starts and 12 appearances in 2009…tabbed lone run of the season against Augustana (4/25/09)…in 14 at-bats, charted two hits and a .143 batting average…her two hits of the season game against the University of Mary on 2/14/09…went 1-for-2 in the stolen base category…had one sacrifice hit at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (2/19/09).
2008 Season: First year catcher from Verona, Wis….played in 53 games with 49 starts behind the plate…batted .260 (34-131) with seven doubles scoring 13 runs and knocking in 20…earned eight walks and stole five bases…tabbed 178 putouts with 23 assists while only making one error…led the team with five sac flies…hit safely in 27 games with five multi hit games…started first career game and went 1-3 with career high two runs scored in 5-0 win over Northern State on 2/15…a day later, also against NSU, knocked in a career high two RBI for the first time in a 13-0 rout…grabbed career high three hits on 2/23 going 3-3 with a run scored against Upper Iowa in a 7-0 win and also average rise to .348…batting average rose to a season high .353 in 3/6 after a 2-3 performance in and 8-6 win over Bloomfield College…went 3-3 again 4/9 in opener at Historic Selke field in tough 1-0 loss to then #7 Southwest Minnesota State…knocked in two runs on 3/21 in 8-0 win over Mayville State and again on 4/15 in 8-7 loss to North Dakota…twice backstopped Husky pitchers to season high nine strikeouts, first on 3/22 when Kassie Dyck fanned nine Valley City State batters and again in the final home series with MSU Moorhead on 4/30 when Kaity Strever stuck out nine Dragons…went 4-8 with three RBI in the NCC Tournament including 2-4 two RBI, one run day in 12-11 win over North Dakota on 5/3.
High School: 2007 graduate of Verona Area High School…player for Chad Tuescher…four year letter winner in softball and a two-time captain…named First Team All-Conference Sophomore, Junior, and Senior seasons as well as All-District and All-State as a Senior…also named Team MVP following her senior campaign…also won two letters in tennis and was a First Team All-Conference selection as a Junior.
Personal: Daughter of Dan and Sue Hendrickson of Verona, Wisconsin…says her father has had the greatest influence on her career…making it to the state tournament all four years of high school is her greatest sports thrill…Honor Roll member for four years including Highest Honors in National Honor Society…also a black belt in Karate…majoring in biomedical science.
