2009 Season: Red-shirt season.
2008 Season: Sophomore pitcher from Sartell…appeared in 31 gamed and made 13 starts in the circle…ended the season with a 5-4 record…threw two complete games…pitched 80.0 innings allowing 119 hits, and 59 runs while striking out 35…also nabbed a pair of saves on the season…struck out 3.06 batters per seven innings…earned first start of the year in the second half of a season opening doubleheader claming a no decision…first win came in fifth appearance when she threw 3.0 innings of shutout relief and struck out four, allowing just two hits in a 9-1 over Minnesota Crookston on 2/24…second win came in 4.0 inning three hitter with four strike outs in a 7-1 spring break win over Siena Heights…from 2/15 to 3/3 went over 14 innings without allowing a runner to cross the plate…after suffering her first loss in a 10-2 decision and seeing her ERA touch the 3.00 mark for the first time in six games, came back the following day to throw 4.0 innings of shut out ball and improve to 3-1 and drop ERA to 2.52…three times struck out a career high four batters…threw first career 7.0 inning compete game on 4/9 but took the 1-0 loss to #7 Southwest Minnesota State…ranked seventh in the NCC in doubles allowed/game (1.14)...named to SCSU student-athlete honor roll.
2007 Season: Trobec started three games in the circle for the Huskies, pitching 23. 1 total innings in 2007 and charting her first collegiate win against Minnesota Duluth on April 24... she had 54 at-bats for SCSU and posted nine hits, two RBIs and seven runs scored.... swung for first collegiate hit against Northern State on Feb. 17 in the Husky Dome... tallied her first collegiate double on Feb. 23 against Jamestown College in the Husky Dome... had 16 put outs in the field and appeared in 30 total games as a first year player.
High School: Graduated from Sartell High School in 2006...earned the Three-Sport Athlete Award...played volleyball, hockey and softball...lettered three times in volleyball...five-time letterwinner in hockey...team captain...2004 and 2006 All-Conference Honorable Mention...named team's Most Improved Player in 2003 and 2006... lettered four times in softball...2003 and 2005 Hustle Award...team MVP in 2004 and 2006...All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2003 and 2004...2006 All-Conference...All-Section First Team in 2006...named to 2006 St. Cloud Times All-Area First Team in 2006... team captain....holds numerous batting and pitching records at Sartell H.S. ...in 2006 finished with a 16-7 pitching record (most wins in school history)...had 193 strikeouts in 2006 (most ever in a season in school history)...finished prep career with a .353 hitting average...totaled 104 career hits (second in school history)...had 50 RBI's in career (sixth in school history)...holds record for most triples in school history with 15...is fourth in school history with 75 singles.
Personal: Daughter of Bill and Nancy Trobec of Sartell, Minn. ...says her father has had the greatest influence on her career...named All-Central Lakes Conference Scholar Athlete for volleyball, hockey and softball (2005-06)...member of student council...says her greatest sports thrill was traveling to the Junior Olympic Volleyball National Tournament in Washington and finishing in 9th place with her J.O. team (the highest placed finish of any Minnesota team that year)...enjoys playing piano...an athletic training major at SCSU with a minor in coaching.
