2011 Season: Made four appearances during the 2011 season…tabbed at-bats against Concordia-St. Paul on April 6 and Minnesota Duluth on April 22…landed on the 2011 NSIC Spring Academic squad.
2010 Season: Made 29 appearances and 21 starts in 2010…earned first career start against Minnesota, Crookston on Feb. 28…swung for first career hit, RBI and run scored against Wisconsin-Superior on Feb. 27 in the Husky Dome…charted first career multi-hit game against Southern Indiana on March 13 in Florida…also posted season-high two runs scored against Southern Indiana in the same game…garnered first career triple against Lock Haven on March 9 in Florida…totaled 10 hits, 11 runs, one double, one triple, four RIB in 54 at-bats for the Huskies during her rookie stint…was two-for-two in stolen base category…amassed a .185 batting average.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Columbus High School… in softball Schlichte was awarded four letters… a two-time All- Conference Honorable Mention, First Team All–Conference and All-District player… Schlichte has also been honored with Team All-Star, All-Metro twice, and two letters in bowling…lettered in cross country...landed on the Benton Bobcat All- Tournament Team… Schlichte led the CHS softball team with a batting average of .349 and a .913 fielding average.
Personal: The daughter of Dave and Rae Marie Schlichte… says hitting her first homerun which was a grand slam during her junior season was her greatest sports experience…her academic honors include National Honors Society, High Honor Roll, Academic All- Conference in cross country and in softball… earned the Academic Team Award for the state of Iowa and the American Bar Association Citizenship Award…for hobbies Schlichte participated in the school play as prop manager, playing in jazz band, concert band, choir, Senior Leadership Club, weight lifting and participating in youth ministry… majoring in criminal justice.
