2011 Season: Pitched 15.2 innings for the Huskies during her rookie stint in 2011…made first career start against MSU Moorhead on May 1…pitched 5.0 innings that game, striking out two Dragon batters to gain her first collegiate victory at St. Cloud State…tallied a 1-1 record after making eight appearances…struck out five batters and posted a 7.60 earned run average.

Before SCSU: Transfer from Coe College in Cedar Falls, Iowa…spent a semester at COE in the fall of 2010.

High School: Graduated from North Butler High School in 2010…lettered five times for the Bearcats in softball…four-time All-Conference player…named to the All-State softball team twice during prep career…landed on the Iowa All-State Tournament squad…All-District player three times…lists her greatest sports thrill as hitting the game-winning double in the State Tournament…a four-time letterwinner in basketball at NBHS…earned All-Conference nods twice in basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Mike Boomgarden…academic letterwinner…says her father has had the greatest influence on her athletic career…enjoys shopping, fishing, wakeboarding and boating in her free time…plans to major in business with a minor in marketing at St. Cloud State.
