2009 Season - Made first career appearance on 2/14/09 against Lewis University in the Husky Dome…pitched a career high 4.2 innings in her first career start at Concordia University-St. Paul on 4/10/09…struck out two batters in 2009…went 0-2 from the circle with an ERA of 4.59.
2008 Season - Gatz red-shirted this season.
HIGH SCHOOL - 2007 graduate of Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School...played for coach Chad Bureau...five-time letter winner in softball...was four-time All-Conference pick and one-time MVP...also twice named Wright County Player-of-the-Week...twice lettered in volleyball where she earned one Most Improved Player award and one All-Conference award...also lettered twice in basketball while winning an All-Conference pick.
PERSONAL - Daughter of Dale and Deb Gatz of Winsted, Minnesota...lists greatest sports thrills as throwing her first no-hitter and breaking her high school volleyball record...enjoys sand volleyball and camping when not competing on the diamond...twin sister Amy is a first year red-shirt player on the Husky volleyball team ...undeclared major.
