2009: Junior season...started and played in 17 games as a defender for the Huskies…named to the 2009 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V College Division Soccer Team as a Third Team selection…earned All-NSIC Academic honors in the Fall…was named by her team as a Co-Defender of the Year…did not post a shot as the center back for a strong Husky defense that posted a school-record nine shutouts on the season and allowed a school-record low 17 goals on the season.
2008: Sophomore season…named to the NSIC All-Academic team…played in 14 matches with 13 starts...did not tally any shots on the season while patrolling the Husky defense…a starter in the opening gam
e, suffered injury that would keep her out for the next three games…made first appearance back coming off the bench against Augustana…made return to the starting lineup in the 3-0 win over Wayne State…started on Homecoming against Upper Iowa and led the defense to a shutout in the 0-0 tie…against Concordia helped the Husky defense post a season low two shots on goal…helped the Husky defense hold #18 Minnesota State to just five shots on goal in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament...named to the NSIC All-Academic Team after making the the Dean's list and "A" honor roll at SCSU.

Before SCSU: A three-year varsity award recipient and defender at Mounds View, where she played for Sharon and John Swallen...All-State Honorable Mention squad and her team¹s Player of the Year in 2006...two-time All-Conference selection...participated in the Puma/Soccer Express Senior Classic and also gained All-Section honors in 2005 and 2006...team captain in 2005 and 2006...four Academic Awards in soccer...2005 Gatorade Will to Win Athlete Award...state tournament participant in 2005 and 2006...a member of the Blackhawks of St. Paul, U18 Premier club team that won the 2006 Minnesota State Cup championship...National Honor Society and A Honor Roll student at Mounds View...earned two varsity letters in basketball at Mounds View...Ms. Hustle Award...team captain for basketball in 2006-07 and also lettered on the Mounds View track and field team in 2004...Academic All-State in 2007 and Student Athlete of the Year at MVHS.
Personal: She is the daughter of Jeff and Sue Gazich of Arden Hills...Television Journalism major at SCSU...enjoys sports, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
