2008: Junior season…named to the Daktronics All-Central Region Second Team…named First Team All-Conference…named NSIC Co-Newcomer of the Year...named Most Valuable Player by her teammates …started in 17 matches during the season…in all matches, led the NSIC in assists per match (0.53), and was third in total assists (9)…in conference matches only, ranked second on the NSIC in assists (7), and game-winning goals (3), sixth in points (17), and eighth in shots (40)…three game winning goals ties a SCSU season record…assist per game (0.53) and shots on goal per game (1.35) marks are third best in SCSU history…other top-10 all-time season tallies include fourth in assists (9), fifth in shots on goal (23), eighth in points (21), and tenth in points per match (1.24)…led the huskies in goals (6), assists (9), and points (21)…SCUS’s first 20 point scorer since the 2006 season… first first team all-conference player since 2004 and first all-region player since 2000…SCSU was 8-1-1 when she tallied at least one point…went 2-2 on the season in penalty kicks…strung together a team high five game point streak during the season…netted her first points as a Husky in the season opening 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on 8/30 with an assist on the games opening goal…tallied one shot on goal against Concordia-St. Paul…scored first goal as a Husky on a penalty kick in the 7-0 win over Minnesota, Crookston on 9/14…landed one shot on goal against Augustana…scored final goal of 3-0 win over Wayne State by knocking in a second half corner kick…led the Huskies with four shots and two on goal against #21 Minnesota State…had career day against Southwest Minnesota on 9/28, leading the Huskies to the 2-0 win with two goals and four points, coming off seven shots, three of which were on goal…seven shots and three SOG are both SCSU season highs…tallied one assist against Minnesota…had yet another career day against MSU Moorhead with five shots, four on goal, and three assist’s in the 3-0 win…produced three-point performance against Minnesota Duluth with an assist on the game tying goal with only five minutes to play before giving SCSU the win with her good penalty kick 4:36 into overtime as the Huskies battled back from a 2-0 deficit late in the match…against Bemidji State fired off four shots, landing one on net, and notched an assist on the games only goal to extend her point streak to five consecutive games…for the first time all season, SCSU dropped a match where she was in on the scoring…managed just two shots in the 0-0 double OT tie with Upper Iowa on Homecoming…was held to just one shot as the Huskies fell 3-0 to then #3 Winona State…against U-Mary landed only shot of the game on goal, one of just three for the Huskies on the day…took four shots and landed one on goal against Northern State, and also had the assist on the Huskies first goal for her first point in four games, her longest scoring drought of the season…in season finale against Concordia scored the games lone goal as well as tallied team highs with five total shots and three shots on goal.

Before SCSU: Played two season’s of soccer at DePaul University were she was named most valuable freshman following the 2006 season...2006 graduate of Mahtomedi High School where she played for coach Mike Redmond…a four-year letter winner at MHS, Evangelist closed her career earning All-Conference, All-State, and captain honors as a senior…her Zephyrs squad was conference champions in 2002 and took third at the state tournament in 2003 before taking home the Minnesota Class A state title in 2004 and 2005…also a four-year academic honor roll member.

Personal: Daughter of Joel and Glenda Kaiser of Mahtomedi, Minnesota…majoring in Physical Education.
